Good attendance was recorded on Monday 12 January at the public presentation of the LOGICA project, hosted at the Conference Hall of the Mountain Community of Carnia in Tolmezzo. Local administrators, municipal technicians, representatives of professional associations, and interested citizens took part in the event, confirming the strong interest of the territory in the issues addressed by LOGICA.
The event, organised and chaired by the Carnia Mountain Community in its role as Lead Partner, provided an opportunity to present the aims, objectives and timeline of the project, which will be implemented over the next two years. The meeting also included a presentation of the planned activities and the added value of cross-border cooperation.
The event also marked the launch of a participatory process aimed at local stakeholders, through the completion of a questionnaire focusing on different perceptions and positions regarding future climate scenarios. This strategic listening tool will enable the project partners to collect contributions and practical suggestions, supporting communities in the implementation of climate adaptation actions tailored to the specific needs and resources of the territories involved.
Alongside the presentation, there were opportunities for discussion and exchange of views on the topics addressed by the project. LOGICA intends to encourage and nurture this debate over time, with the aim of promoting the sharing and diversity of perspectives—key elements in achieving common, concrete and jointly developed solutions on both sides of the border.
In the coming months, a twin event will be held in Slovenia, following the same format and ensuring continuity of the work initiated with the Italian presentation.
