The Municipality of Postojna has acquired a new mobile command van equipped with state-of-the-art technology within the project. The vehicle represents an important upgrade in capacities for effective response to emergency situations and strengthens the preparedness of local civil protection and rescue services.
The mobile command van is equipped with advanced communication and coordination technology, enabling rapid response, improved organization of field operations, and effective cooperation between different services.
The Cross-Alert project aims to enhance cross-border cooperation and strengthen resilience to natural and other disasters, with the new acquisition playing an important role in ensuring greater safety for citizens.
The Municipality of Postojna will also organize a special local event on Tuesday, 14 April, where the vehicle will be presented to the wider public. Visitors will have the opportunity to see the equipment up close and learn about its role in protection and rescue operations.
