As part of the KARST ADAPT project, the Municipality of Renče–Vogrsko has purchased a specialized vehicle for the interventions of the Civil Protection of the Municipality of Renče–Vogrsko.
The vehicle is primarily destinated for the following activities:
- Transport of people;
- Removable module for first aid (first aid kit, removable stretcher);
- Removable module for the transport of animals – especially sheep.
The purchase was carried out within the framework of the KARST ADAPT project, funded by the European Union under the Interreg VI-A Italy–Slovenia Programme. The project allocated approximately EUR 54,000.00 for this purpose.
The new vehicle represents an important step towards greater safety and more effective intervention in the cross-border area. It will also be used to carry out an animal evacuation exercise, foreseen on the basis of the “Animal Evacuation Protocol” within Work Package 2, in 2026 in Monfalcone, and represents one of the achievements of the KARST ADAPT project.
