The project partner Regione Autonoma Friuli Venezia Giulia - Servizio sistemazioni idraulico-forestali irrigazione e bonifica is currently working on preparing the field surveys of 2025, because during the second project period, the snow and the conditions in the mountains did not allow them to do a proper field survey. By the end of 2024, they have written the technical specifications for this work, defined the fazes and the program, and prepared all the materials and tools for entering the survey data into the Region Integrated Data Base System.
Meanwhile, lead partner Università degli studi di Udine is processing the huge amount of data from the field surveys carried out during summer - autumn 2024 in the FVG basins and is planning the surveys at Osp in Slovenia for February 2025.
Both partners are also working on searching and collecting historical data.
