PALLIPES at the 82nd Congress of the Italian Zoological Union in Cagliari

A 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐟𝐢𝐬𝐡 was presented at the 𝐔𝐙𝐈 (𝐈𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐙𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧) 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬, held in 𝐂𝐚𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐫𝐢 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓.

The contribution is part of the 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐠 𝐈𝐓𝐀-𝐒𝐋𝐎 𝐏𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐏𝐄𝐒 project, dedicated to the 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐟𝐢𝐬𝐡, a species threatened by habitat depletion.

 

The research also uses 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐍𝐀 (𝐞𝐃𝐍𝐀) 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬 for population 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬.
