On November 21, we attended a meeting of partners on the IN4SAFETY project, which is part of the Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenia 2021-2027 Programme and is aimed at strengthening cross-border cooperation in emergency preparedness and resilience.
The project partners presented their activities and achievements in the first year of project implementation. The meeting ended with the signing of a memorandum between the Gorica Institute of International Sociology (ISIG), the Nova Gorica Fire Department (GENG), the European Capital of Culture 2025 Nova Gorica - Gorica GO! 2025 and EGTC - European Union for Territorial Cooperation (EGTC GO).
The signing of the Memorandum commits all involved to fostering innovation, mutual support and effective communication, which is key to the success of the initiative for a safer and more resilient cross-border community and to the successful implementation of the planned cross-border civil protection exercise in the Gorizia-Nova Gorica area, which will take place in mid-2025.
