PILOT ACTIONS CIRCULAR.BUILDINGS-Deadline extended to 30th January 2026!

DEADLINE EXTENDED: Applications for individual support programmes provided by the Circular.Buildings pilot actions will be accepted until 12 noon on 30 January 2026!

Italian and Slovenian companies and professionals are eligible to apply. Between February and early April, the selected companies will have access to INDIVIDUAL support programmes to experiment with some of the best practices and innovations covered by the project (in research and workshops): from artificial intelligence to design, from the use of innovative materials to the use of construction site management software that maximises sustainability... everything that can contribute to activating virtuous circles of sustainability in the sector.

A unique opportunity for companies and consultants in our area: personalised support to transform ideas into actions and become, in concrete terms, drivers of the circular economy in construction.

THE SELECTION PROCESS

There are only 16 places available, for 8 Italian companies/professionals and 8 Slovenian companies/professionals. Interested companies should therefore send an expression of interest following the instructions below

A. Who can apply

Both companies and professionals who meet the following two requirements can apply:

• Operate in the construction sector, with reference to all professions in the sector: from construction/demolition to engineering/architecture firms, flooring/window and door manufacturers, building material manufacturers, plant installers or maintenance technicians, etc.

• Have their registered office or place of business in the eligible programme area, namely: the Province of Venice, Friuli Venezia Giulia, and the eligible areas in Slovenia (namely: Primorsko-notranjska, Osrednjeslovenska, Gorenjska, Obalno-kraška, and Goriška)

B. How to submit/send applications

Companies/professionals wishing to apply for the pilot actions must complete the application form available at the following links:

Form for Italian companies and professionals: https://forms.gle/5z2xCitXorzRsaXS6

Form for Slovenian companies and professionals: https://forms.gle/CeUCq8yLh7WJmJnh6

UPDATED DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING APPLICATIONS: 30 JANUARY 2026, 12 NOON

If you encounter any difficulties in completing the form, please contact our staff: circular.buildings@ecipa.eu

C. Two-step selection process

The selection process consists of two steps:

1) analysis of the project proposals submitted in response to this call for applications;

2) individual interviews with the best Italian and Slovenian companies selected in step 1.

Below is a detailed description of the call for applications:

Step 1: Selection of the best project proposals

In the application form, interested companies and professionals will be asked to identify and describe the management and/or technical solutions they intend to test, in line with their operational needs and the objectives of the project. Proposals will be evaluated based on expected results, contribution to improving work processes, potential positive impacts in terms of sustainability/contribution to cross-border circular construction, and the possible establishment of collaborations, including cross-border ones. At the end of this first step, a ranking list will be drawn up for Italian companies/professionals and a ranking list for Slovenian companies/professionals, based on the defined evaluation criteria.

Companies or professionals wishing to apply are invited to carefully review the OBJECTIVE EVALUATION CRITERIA listed at the bottom of the article.

Step 2: Interview

The best companies/professionals emerging from the ranking will be contacted for an individual online interview, at the end of which the final ranking will be drawn up.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PILOT ACTIONS

Following the selection process, the selected companies will have the opportunity to test the proposed solutions with the direct support of an expert in order to verify their actual applicability and usefulness in the operational context.

PLEASE NOTE: The pilot actions will start by the beginning of February and must be completed by the first week of April 2026 at the latest.

A strategic opportunity for the cross-border construction sector

The pilot actions are a key part of the Circular.Buildings project, offering companies and professionals a concrete opportunity to engage with innovative tools, test them in a guided context and contribute to the development of solutions that are truly useful for the construction sector in the cross-border area. Take advantage of this opportunity and apply by 18 January 2026!
