On 07.06.2023 the Managing Authority of the Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenija 2021-2027 Programme signed the contracts for the granting of funding for the strategic project POSEIDONE.
POSEIDONE is one of the three projects of strategic importance envisaged by the Programme and it is addressed to the functional area of the Northern Adriatic Sea stretching from Chioggia to the end of the Slovenian coast, with the main objective of promoting local development on the basis of common needs and challenges and through interventions in three different areas: the protection of nature and biodiversity, the development of green and blue infrastructures (in Natura 2000 sites and in the agricultural sector) and the reduction of tourist pressure on natural parks.
The signing of the grant contracts was an important step for the continuation of the Programme.
