As part of our efforts to strengthen cooperation and create synergies among projects with complementary goals, we participated in the final event of the IN4SAFETY project, where we presented SANITAS as a complementary initiative focused on cross-border emergency response.
The IN4SAFETY and SANITAS projects complement each other in their mission to enhance cross-border response capacity to natural disasters and medical emergencies.
While IN4SAFETY focuses on innovative solutions for providing rapid emergency medical assistance through a helicopter rescue system and efficient air response mechanisms, SANITAS strengthens institutional cooperation capacities in the field of primary healthcare and prepares cross-border teams for rapid action in case of natural disasters.
Within SANITAS, the project enhances the preparedness of healthcare and rescue teams through the signing of a cross-border protocol and the coordination of measures aimed at harmonizing response procedures between partners on both sides of the border.
With the shared goal of improving access to healthcare during emergencies and reinforcing cross-border cooperation, SANITAS and IN4SAFETY represent an important step towards a more coordinated, effective, and integrated response to natural disasters across the border area.
