The national Infoday dedicated to the fourth strategic capitalisation call of the Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE 2021–2027 Programme took place on 21 October 2025 in Venice, at the Multipurpose Hall of the Palazzo della Regione. The event provided a valuable opportunity for dialogue among institutions, Managing Authorities (Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE, Italy-Slovenia, Italy-Croatia, Italy-Austria 2021-2027), and stakeholders active in European territorial cooperation.
Following the welcome remarks by Rita Bertocco (Region of Veneto), Luca Ferrarese, Head of the Joint Secretariat of the Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE Programme, presented the features of the new call, highlighting the opportunities to strengthen project impact through capitalisation actions. Next, Alberto De Sordi (NCP Italy) outlined the national procedures and support measures available to applicants.
A key moment of the event was the roundtable discussion on synergies between cross-border programmes. Among the speakers, Laura Comelli, Managing Authority of the Interreg Italy–Slovenia Programme, emphasised the importance of an integrated vision across programmes to enhance results and promote the sustainability of initiatives. Alongside her, Sandy Petrossi, capitalisation expert from the Managing Authority’s staff, shared concrete cooperation experiences and tools developed to facilitate integration between projects and territories.
The event concluded with a Q&A session, allowing participants to explore both operational and strategic aspects of the call. The Infoday reaffirmed the central role of capitalisation as a lever to enhance the effectiveness of European cooperation and generate lasting impacts in the territories involved.
