On Thursday, 12 February 2026, a meeting was held in Idrija as part of the LOGICA project. The meeting brought together stakeholders from the municipalities of Idrija and Cerkno to discuss climate change adaptation. The event was held in a constructive atmosphere with good attendance and active discussion, confirming that climate adaptation is becoming an increasingly recognised topic in the local area.
Participants were updated on the project's activities to date, as well as on other climate-related projects and initiatives implemented by the Idrija-Cerkno Development Agency. The meeting was made particularly valuable by an open discussion, during which attendees highlighted the area's current key challenges and emphasised the importance of planning future measures in a timely and thoughtful manner.
This meeting is an important milestone for the project, representing not only a presentation of the work carried out to date, but also the beginning of in-depth cooperation with the local community. In the next phases, the focus will be on developing priority measures and preparing guidelines to help local communities adapt to climate change effectively and feasibly.
Thus, the LOGICA project continues on its path towards developing practical, transferable and locally adapted solutions for a more resilient cross-border area.
