The importance of bees for the quality of ecosystems and human life is universally recognized, so much so that beekeeping is now at the center of a debate on how best to protect it. The complexity of the life of bee colonies and the environment in which they live requires a high level of technical preparation, essential for achieving practical and economic results not only for beekeepers but also for farmers and the community as a whole.
With this awareness, the project partner Veneto Agricoltura resumed the publication of the Beekeeping Bulletin during the summer months, a valuable support service for beekeepers and bee enthusiasts. The bulletin provides updates on seasonal trends and technical advice to promote a correct relationship between beekeeping, the environment, and agricultural activity, with a weekly or bi-weekly frequency.
The Beekeeping Bulletin is in Italian; issues related to the BEE2GETHER project will be bilingual, in Italian and Slovenian.
In September, it reached its 8th edition.
