On 16 and 17 April, the event “Interreg Italy–Slovenia OSI: Synergies and Complementarities Bridging Europe” took place in Grado, coordinated by the ADRIONCYCLETOUR, KRAS–CARSO II and POSEIDONE projects. The event brought together institutions, Interreg programmes and stakeholders to strengthen synergies between European instruments and enhance the impact of cohesion policies in cross-border areas.
Representatives of the SEAINSIGHTS project also attended, alongside numerous Interreg programmes and macro-regional strategies. The second day focused on the post-2027 programming period, with discussions on future objectives, coordination among programmes and youth involvement. Key takeaways included the importance of a results-oriented approach, based on milestones and performance, and of linking the local dimension to the broader macro-regional context.
The event also provided opportunities for networking and collaboration, including an exchange with the Jonian Dolphin Conservation association. SEAINSIGHTS representatives also took part in the thematic workshop “Blue and Green Infrastructure for Biodiversity”, highlighting the importance of mid-term reviews and knowledge sharing among projects.
Two intensive days dedicated to dialogue and building synergies for future European projects.
