The second LOGICA project partners' meeting took place on 21st April in Postojna.
The working day opened with an update on the overall progress of the project, with a particular focus on communication activities, financial aspects, and adherence to the planned schedule. Upcoming commitments and planned project activities were also outlined.
Following this, the lead partner, the Comunità di Montagna della Carnia (Mountain Community of Carnia), presented the activities carried out under Work Package 1, dedicated to climate data collection, the analysis of existing adaptation actions, and the development of risk assessments in the project areas, one of the main expected outputs.
Furthermore, preliminary findings from the ongoing surveys regarding future climate scenarios was shared. These questionnaires, currently in the field across several public categories, aim to establish a baseline for public perception within the project’s scope. The findings will serve to guide subsequent operational phases and define the positioning of key local stakeholders in relation to climate challenges.
RRA Green Karst then put forward the first operational proposals for Work Package 2. This phase focuses on building a truly participatory process, designed to ensure broad and active stakeholder engagement across both Italy and Slovenia regarding the project’s core themes.
The meeting also served as a valuable opportunity for exchange among the partners, who agreed to reconvene for the next meeting, scheduled to take place in Italy this autumn.
