As part of the TARTINI BIS Project - Increasing the Impacts and Synergies of Cultural Tourism in the name of Giuseppe Tartini,, funded by the Interreg Italia-Slovenija 2021-2027 Programme, the establishment of a cross-border youth orchestra is being planned.
Once formed, this orchestra will perform at least four public events/concerts in the programme area. The scheduled events will be held on Saturday 14, Sunday 15, Monday 16, Tuesday 17 September 2024.
A special public call is then issued for the selection of the members of the Orchestra in the following instrument classes: violin, viola, cello, double bass, harpsichord, flute, oboe, horn.
The activities will take place at the headquarters of the Luigi Bon Foundation in Colugna di Tavagnacco (UD) and in locations in the Program area (Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, Metropolitan City of Venice, Slovenia).
Candidates are invited to send a video or its link by 20 June 2024, in which they perform a free program of a maximum of 15 minutes of the main repertoire for their instrument. The candidates must submit their application to the e-mail address: info@fondazionebon.com. The results of the tender will be known by 30 July 2024.
The selected applicants will be paid a gross fee of €800 to cover travel expenses and for participation in rehearsal sessions and public events. In addition to this fee, the Luigi Bon Foundation will provide accommodation, meals, and transport to the concert venues for the duration of the experience.
