BRIEF DESCRIPTION: On 4th and 8th September, a teacher's training course will take place within the scope of the project "Ljubka's Trail”. Participants will have the opportunity to become acquainted with the project, the different stages of Ljubka's Trail, the role of writers in the fight for equality and poetry, as well as the life of Ljubka Šorli. The course will also see the presentation of various ways to integrate contents and field trips to Ljubka's Trail in the school activities.
The training will take place within the framework of the Autumn seminar for school staff of Slovenian schools in Italy, organised by the Education Institute of the Republic of Slovenia, by the Education Ministry of the Republic of Slovenia, and by the Office for Slovenian Schools.

We will dive into the microbial properties behind vinegar fermentation and explore its historical role across cultures as both a healing remedy and natural cleanser for healthy environments. This workshop is led by Philipp Kolmann and Suzanne Bernhardt of Studio Erba, a trans-local food studio exploring the cultural, ecological, and sensory dimensions of what and how we eat. Their practice weaves together food, art, and storytelling to inspire more caring relationships between people, plants, and places.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: On Wednesday 10th September you are invited to the press conference, which will take place in Piazza Transalpina / Trg Evrope, where the project GOGO TOUR CHALLENGE – an innovative educational tourism model bringing Nova Gorica and Gorizia together - will be presented. The project is implemented by two partners: the Primary School Frana Erjavca in Nova Gorica and the Institute Ivan Trinko in Gorizia, with student-guides hosting bilingual “walking” and “bike” challenges, allowing everyone to learn something new and to have fun.

Friuli DOC is a historical event which takes place in Udine with the purpose of promoting the products of Friuli Venezia Giulia. BRIEF DESCRIPTION: The event on the border between Gorizia and Nova Gorica will remind everyone of the importance of green mobility in the city and it will show from a practical standpoint how our wellbeing and our perception of the environment change based on our mobility choices. The event will also show how, when cars do not have access to public spaces, the environment can have different looks, different sounds, different perfumes, and different feelings. By closing Erjavčeva ulica and via San Gabriele, the road will become a green mobility paradise. No cars, only people with bicycles, strollers, and on foot. Nets suspended on the roadway, an inflatable table football, various sorts of sport equipment, a basic course of street art: this will transform for a day the atmosphere of a dangerous, fast, and chaotic road in a relaxed, inclusive, and “sustainable” one.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: EX is an expanded exploration of the area surrounding Gorizia’s old cotton mill. A walk with wireless headphones attempting to fill with stories an empty space, a space where there is nothing and where nothing happens. For the local community, the old cotton mill represented more than a mere workplace; it represented a square, a meeting point, a battlefield, and for someone a place with no way out. Now it is a deserted area, with no access from the outside, strictly separated from inside spaces, making it impossible to even gather around it. The voice of someone who does not experience this kind of separation will tell the audience the story of a space, which is paradoxically waiting to be occupied.
