On the first Sunday of September, a concert featuring the artist Neri Marcorè took place at the Dolina del XV Bersaglieri; it was a highly attended and evocative event.
The concert marked the culmination of a day full of activities designed to highlight the area, its historical memory, and the connection between people and places.
The day began in the morning with a walk along Stage 10 of the Walk of Peace, led by an expert guide in the history and natural environment of the region. Participants followed the trails to the Monte San Michele Museum, and in the afternoon continued through the Karst landscape until reaching the Dolina del XV Bersaglieri.
Shorter walks were also organized in the afternoon, allowing a wider audience to take part in the final event in a different and more immersive way.
The initiative was carried out as part of the Interreg Italy–Slovenia projects Walk of Peace+ and BeWOP, in collaboration with the association Nei Suoni dei Luoghi and the Pro Loco of Fogliano Redipuglia. It stands as a virtuous example of synergy aimed at promoting the values of peace, remembrance, and participation.
