The ALL‑MICRO Open Day held at the University of Nova Gorica (UNG) on the 12th of May 2026, within the Interreg project, provided companies, industries, hospitals, and medical centres with an opportunity to explore the microscopy techniques available at UNG, including SEM, TEM, EDX, micro‑Raman, AFM, and sample preparation. The event combined informative presentations with hands‑on demonstrations, in some cases using samples brought directly by participants.
Four industrial partners - Sartorius BIA Separations, Polident, Haze Instruments, and Elettra‑Sincrotrone Trieste - took part, highlighting strong industry engagement. The programme was structured across morning and afternoon sessions, each including facility presentations and live demonstrations, with a lunch break in between.
The event was organised and supported by UNG staff, with contributions from Mattia Fanetti, Sandra Gardonio, Vadym Tkachuk, and Blaž Belec, ensuring both scientific and organisational coordination.
