EDUCATIONAL VIDEO ABOUT KARST PONDS

Ponds are characteristic elements of the cross-border cultural landscape and an important piece in the mosaic of green infrastructure. They were primarily used to provide water for livestock, but today they are home to numerous animals and plants associated with aquatic environments.

To get to know the pond’s inhabitants better, we filmed an educational video during the project that showcases their diverse lives throughout the seasons. You’ll learn why the survival of certain species is threatened, as well as many other interesting facts. The underwater footage, in which we can observe the movements of various animals, is particularly captivating.

Numerous shorter clips are also available for viewing on the ENGREEN 2 project’s YouTube channel.
