The Interreg Italy-Slovenia IRRIGAVIT project held technical meetings in Ljubljana on January 28 and February 19, 2025, led by the University of Udine - DI4A and the Institute for Agriculture of Slovenia (KIS). Researchers from the Geodetic Institute of Slovenia (GIS) presented water potential modelling using Sentinel-2 images and DSS Vintel system estimates, applying a classification model to assess vineyard water status. Further analysis refined these strategies using UAVs, agro-robots, and experimental vineyard data. Ca’ Foscari University, participated in the meeting by giving updates and correlations of their study of water cycle in the vineyard, while Consorzio Tutela Vini Friuli Colli Orientali e Ramandolo and the agency RRA Severne Primorske doo Nova Gorica are working on the guidelines and organizing meetings with policy stakeholders.
