Our projects ACQUAVITIS and IRRIGAVIT will be presented by prof. Paolo Sivilotti, the coordinator of the IRRIGAVIT project and dr. Klemen Lisjak, the coordinator of the Acquavitis project, at the event “Interreg GO! 2025” that will take place on March 28, 2025, on the day dedicated to the 2021-2027 programming, the results achieved, the valorisation of best practices and the lessons learned.

Our projects, standard the first and capitalization the second, have been chosen as best practices under the objective “Greener Europe and water management”.

The aim of the workshop “Building a Greener Europe through Water Resilience and Integrated Management” that will be run from 13.30 to 14.30 in Gorizia at the Kulturni dom is to explore how Interreg programmes have effectively integrated environmental sustainability into programme delivery and their strategic objectives. Participants will be confronted with examples highlighting different programme governance models developed to implement projects in the field of water management, examining their long-term impact, sustainability, capitalization and legacy of project results. The workshop aims to provide lessons learned and key recommendations for other Interreg programmes across Europe, promoting knowledge exchange and inspiring future synergies and collaborations.

After the presentation in Gorizia, our researchers will accompany participants on a study visit to Corno di Rosazzo at the Villa Nachini Cabassi of IRRIGAVIT partner taker, the Consorzio per la Tutela di vini dei Colli Orientali e Ramandolo, where the director of the consortium Mariano Paladin will welcome them with prof. Paolo Sivilotti for the presentation of the works and techniques used in the two projects.
