On March 28 and 29, at CESFAM in Paluzza, an event will take place dedicated to water, forest management, and mountains. This will be an opportunity for experts, professionals, and local communities to engage in discussions and deepen their understanding of the connection between these essential elements for the environment and society.

The program includes a first day of in-depth exploration, starting in the morning with a seminar accredited by the Order of Journalists, focusing on the role of specialized media and the need to educate new generations on the responsible management of water resources. The event is organized by Wigwam, a project partner.

The initiative aims to raise awareness of the value of water as a strategic resource, highlighting the challenges related to its sustainable management and the conservation of mountain and forest ecosystems. Through discussions and contributions from industry specialists, key topics will be addressed, including hydrogeological balance, the impact of climate change, natural resource protection policies, and the role of communication in spreading environmental awareness.

The second day will feature field activities, including the presentation of CESFAM and CEFAP training initiatives, visits to laboratories, and an on-site forest inspection to directly observe conservation dynamics.

This event is part of the Interreg WABIN project, which aims to promote the conscious and integrated management of water resources, contributing to building greater territorial resilience through collaboration between research institutions, authorities, and communities.

The event will be held in Italian and Slovenian.
