THE 14 WORKSHOPS OF THE CIRCULAR.BUILDINGS PROJECT HAVE BEGUN

The construction sector is undergoing an unprecedented transformation. Digitalisation, the circular economy, energy efficiency and new design models are redefining the way companies, technicians and professionals operate on a daily basis. To address this challenge with concrete tools, the CIRCULAR.BUILDINGS project offers a series of 14 free workshops dedicated to construction companies, installers, designers, technical firms, architects, engineers and other industry professionals.

A unique journey, with the same programme in Italy and Slovenia

The workshops will take place simultaneously in both countries, with a total of 14 events: 7 in Italy and 7 in Slovenia, covering the same topics and using the same training approach. This ensures a shared cross-border vision and allows companies to compare experiences, best practices and common perspectives between the two territories.

From the big picture to operational tools: a complete cycle of 7 key themes

The programme addresses all strategic aspects related to innovation in the sector. Each workshop explores a specific topic with concrete examples, tools and opportunities for businesses:

1. Introductory workshop
Evolution of the sector, emerging challenges, new technologies, value of the circular economy and services provided by the project.

2. Artificial intelligence in the construction sector
Potential, operational tools, real applications and regulatory implications.

3. BIM for business competitiveness
Practical use, advantages for designers and SMEs, management of critical issues.

4. Circular design and LCA
Design for disassembly, durability, flexibility and life cycle analysis.

5. Construction waste regulations
How to turn obligations into opportunities for better material management.

6 and 7. Energy efficiency and renewable sources (one workshop for students, one for professionals and businesses)
Application solutions and case studies on high-performance buildings.

Thanks to this programme, participants will gain a comprehensive overview of innovation and sustainability in the construction sector, with up-to-date content and expert speakers from the worlds of design, research and business.

From training to personalised support

Participating in the workshops also offers a concrete opportunity for the future: starting in January, selected participants will have access to individual coaching programmes. These are tailor-made activities designed to support companies and professionals in applying the innovations presented during the meetings.

A free opportunity to grow and innovate

The workshops are a valuable investment for all organisations that want to:

keep up to date with technological and regulatory trends

introduce innovative solutions into their company or professional practice

tap into new market opportunities

exchange ideas with experts and colleagues in the sector

access future personalised support services

The calendar is about to start and registration is now open.
The next workshop is scheduled for 23 October 2025, at 4 p.m. ONLINE (Italian version of the introductory workshop).
