On Tuesday, 23 September 2025, a workshop was held at the VeGAL headquarters in Portogruaro (VE) as part of the Interreg Italy-Slovenia “Ero-STOP” project. The workshop was aimed specifically at farmers but was also open to environmentalists and anyone interested in environmental issues, as well as Italian partners and the group of experts.
After the presentation of the project and its activities, Alberto Bonora of IUAV presented the study carried out by the universities of Venice and Ljubljana for the ‘Ero-stop’ project, which provided interesting ideas for many questions from the participants and numerous ideas for contributing to the drafting of an action plan focused on the specificities of our areas. Riccardo da Re, a professional from Etifor, a spin-off of the University of Padua, effectively coordinated this part of the workshop using various techniques.
The results were translated into a report and a SWOT analysis which, as anticipated, will enrich the results obtained in a similar meeting held by our Slovenian colleagues before the summer.
