On Sunday, May 26th, between 10 AM and 2 PM, the annual event named Cave Festival – Belajtnga took place in the Škocjan Caves Park, held in the area of Škocjan and Matavun. On the Škocjan Caves Regional Park Day, visitors could enjoy a free visit to part of the Škocjan Caves, view exhibitions and museum collections, taste local food, listen to a performance by the Divača Wind Orchestra, and much more.
The E-NAT2CARE project was also presented at Delez's homestead with a bio-creative workshop. Visitors could create a unique bracelet featuring the motif of an Rosalia Longicorn or a stag beetle and color it based on their artistic inspiration. During the creation process, many different questions arose among participants about the ecology, habitats, and various species of beetles. From the bio-creative workshop, visitors left with a new fashion accessory and information about the diverse world of beetles.
