On 2nd April 2025, around 30 municipalities in Eastern Veneto, farmers, wineries and local associations met for a meeting as part of the Interreg Italy-Slovenia ENGREEN 2 project, which ideally follows on from the recent presentation of the Eastern Veneto Wine Masterplan. The Masterplan for Eastern Venetian Wine is a strategic project promoted by the Eastern Veneto Mayors' Conference, funded by the Veneto Region in accordance with Regional Law 16/93 and co-funded by the municipalities of Eastern Veneto, led by the Municipality of Pramaggiore.
The panoramic terrace of Tenuta Planitia hosted the first of a series of three meetings planned by ENGEEN2 to build, together with all the local actors involved in the wine sector, an approach of integrated promotion of the territory - with all its environmental, landscape and traditional characteristics - between food and wine and cultural tourism, also through the revitalisation of the activities of the Wine Route. The meeting opened with institutional greetings, during which the ever-increasing attention of the territory towards the wine-growing and wine-producing enhancement of Eastern Venice was reaffirmed as a driving force for the sustainable agri-food sector and conscious wine tourism.

The presentation of recent results and trends in wine tourism and the meeting with the nearby Euganean Hills Wine Route - for which the president, Roberto Gardina, spoke about difficulties and positive experiences - provided the foundation on which the participants were then able to start working in small groups.
This dialogue allowed us to gather some information regarding the current flow of wine tourism in the area, where it comes from, its characteristics, the activities and experiences requested and the main critical issues to be overcome in order to improve the local offer. All this to develop proposals for visits to discover the Lison-Pramaggiore area in a slow and conscious way, in line with the indications of the ‘Feasibility study for the implementation and relaunch of the Lison - Pramaggiore DOC Wine Route’.
The objective of the next meetings will be to create a sort of ‘Wine Traveller's Diary’ along the Wine Route with experiences, activities and peculiarities to present to the guest and stimulate the creation of a widespread event at the beginning of July that can bring together various experiences of local narration.
