The ALL-MICRO project meeting took place on 23 January 2026 and focused on the progress of ongoing activities, dissemination actions and future collaboration within the network.
Partners were informed that the project prolongation has been officially approved. Within the extended period, Open Days are now recognised as an eligible and mandatory project activity. Partners are invited to submit proposals regarding the organisation of Open Days, including dates, formats and target audiences. Open Days may be organised as standalone events or in connection with other project activities, provided that dissemination rules are respected and equal access is ensured. At least one Open Day must be implemented during the extension period.
Preparations for the School in Electron Microscopy are progressing well.
Due to organisational adjustments, two people instead of three will support biological preparation activities at CIMA UniTS, without affecting the overall structure or objectives of the school. It was also noted that not all RP3 costs were reimbursed following a review of cost percentages, resulting in BL1 funds remaining available for UNG after April, subject to confirmation from the Joint Secretariat.
Dissemination activities include the participation of TEC4I-FVG in the Samu Expo in Pordenone, taking place from 5 to 7 February 2026. The event represents an important opportunity to promote the ALL-MICRO project within the metalworking and plastics processing sectors. Dedicated promotional materials have been prepared, and a 30-minute session is planned in which the project and its objectives will be presented. Participation has been approved by the Joint Secretariat, and all materials will comply with programme visual identity requirements.
The organisation of the next in-person meeting was discussed, with a tentative timeframe proposed between 19 and 27 February 2026, taking into account the Winter School schedule. The meeting will address strategic topics such as future collaboration mechanisms, possible non-binding framework agreements and upcoming funding opportunities, including relevant Horizon calls.
Finally, partners involved in pilot projects were reminded of the importance of timely completion and submission of all required reports, which are essential for monitoring project progress and ensuring a successful project closure, particularly in light of the extended duration.
