With the signature on 31 August, the TRECap capitalisation project continues the excellent results of the previous TETRAMERA of the Interreg Italia – Slovenia 2014-2020 programming period.
The challenge of TRECap has been drawn to a threat, climate change, which is severely affecting our marine environment, and to a species, Pinna nobilis, which is threatened with extinction but still present in the upper Adriatic, in order to start developing common management strategies.
The Lead Partner is OGS Istituto Nazionale di Oceanografia e di Geofisica Sperimentale, which will collaborate together with 5 project partners.
The project started on 1st September 2023. The duration will be 24 months.
