On Wednesday, July 23, the second TORRENT project webinar was held. The event was held as a parallel event. The seminar for Slovenian participants began at 9:00 a.m., while the seminar for Italian participants began a little later, at 11:30 a.m. The purpose of the parallel events was to present the first results of the project and to highlight the importance of the historical databases created using examples from the pilot areas.
The events were intended for experts, the professional public, and all interested parties. The Italian seminar was attended by 26 people from the University of Udine, the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, the mountain community of Carnia, the fisheries protection authority, Eureka Projects SRL, and the Puntel-Cappellari professional office (FVG). The Slovenian seminar was attended by representatives of the University of Ljubljana, the Regional Development Center Koper, the municipality of Å kofja Loka, and the Slovenian Environment Agency.
