The Wigwam Italian Press Award for Young Communicators under 25 was created to raise awareness among younger generations about the importance of water as an essential resource for living, working, and building sustainable communities.
The Award is part of the European project Interreg Italy-Slovenia WABIN and includes two Special Sections:
"Water to drink, water to work, water to live"
"The culture of ditches: the ancient and modern function of the primary hydrographic system"
This initiative serves as a concrete action of education and awareness on protecting water resources and adapting to climate change, involving schools and youth groups from Friuli Venezia Giulia, the Province of Venice, and Slovenia.
