The Wigwam Italian Press Prize for Young Communicators under 25 was created to raise awareness among the new generations about the importance of water as an essential resource for living, working, and building sustainable communities.
As part of the European project Interreg WABIN, the Prize includes two Special Sections specifically dedicated to the theme of water:
“Water to drink, water to work, water to live”
“The culture of the ditch: the ancient and modern role of the primary hydrographic system”
This initiative represents a concrete action for education and awareness on water resource protection and climate change adaptation, involving schools and youth groups in the territories of Friuli Venezia Giulia, the Province of Venice, and Slovenia.
After the success of the first publication, the second collection of selected articles is now available. These texts offer an original and creative look at landscapes, flavors, traditions, and technologies linked to the world of water, told with a fresh and authentic voice by young authors.
