Project summary
The "BORDERLESS OKUS" project promotes food and wine as a mean of exploring the cross-border Carso and surroundig areas by raising awareness of the importance of cultural and sustainable preservation also through the training for insiders, residents and/or tourists. There are two main objectives of the project: the first aims to raise awareness of the importance of preserving and caring for the landscape, culture and food and wine tradition methods of the identied area (particularly Malvasia). Several cross-border are planned to be held in Malvasia production area. The second objective aims to train restaurant, hotel and tourism workers to understand the importance of food and wine as a key to success and competitivity.
