As part of the Interreg Italy–Slovenia IRRIGAVIT project, the second Italian tasting of experimental 2024 vintage wines took place on May 8th, 2025, in Corno di Rosazzo (UD). The event, organized by the Colli Orientali Consortium and the University of Udine (Di4A), brought together 26 experts, including oenologists, producers, technicians, and institutional representatives. Eight wines—produced through controlled deficit irrigation trials on Pinot Grigio and Glera at the Pantianicco experimental vineyard—were evaluated. Preliminary sensory results confirm research hypotheses on the impact of precision irrigation on wine quality. Due to bad weather, the planned vineyard visit was replaced by a technical presentation. The event received significant media coverage.
