Wednesday, March 4th at 19:00, here: ZOOM link

About the lecture:

The lecture will explore the topic of sustainability in preserving high levels of biodiversity in the Karst region through the active involvement and participation of the local population, particularly in the preservation and maintenance of open spaces. In this context, we will assess the degree of sustainability of the measures, particularly at the economic level. We will also analyze specific circular economies that can be introduced in the context of the conservation, management, and maintenance of areas of special natural importance in accordance with agricultural activities and the involvement of the population. The lecture refers to the Kras4us project, which addresses the challenges of sustainable development to tackle climate change in line with European Union strategies.
