We are pleased to invite you to the awareness-raising event organized within the framework of the DAIRY+ project!
The initiative aims to promote an innovative and sustainable circular economy model in the dairy sector, enhancing by-products and reducing waste throughout the entire production chain.
When and where?
The event will take place on:
• Tuesday, June 24, 2025
• From 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• In Kobarid and the surrounding areas (Slovenia)
An Italian ↔ Slovenian interpretation service will be provided to facilitate participation for all attendees.
Agenda of the day:
Planika Dairy – Gregorčičeva ulica 32, 5222 Kobarid
10:00 – 11:00 - Presentation of the DAIRY+ project and opportunities offered by the circular bioeconomy in the dairy sector by FAB FVG and UNIUD – DI4A
11:00 – 12:30 - Guided tour of the Planika Dairy production facilities, followed by a presentation at the Planika Museum with tasting of local dairy products
12:30 – 2:00 PM - Lunch at KAMP LAZAR, Trnovo ob Soči 1b – a convivial moment to deepen discussions and encourage exchange among participants
2:00 – 5:00 PM - Visit to the Kašina alpine pasture (approx. 30-minute drive) to explore farms and livestock facilities engaged in sustainable valorization of the dairy chain
