The European project BEE2GETHER, co-financed by the Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenia Programme, is organizing a training meeting in Spilimbergo dedicated to innovation in beekeeping and to the role of bees as indicators of environmental quality.

During the afternoon, experts and researchers will present insights on electronic beehives, the new Bee2gether App for remote apiary management, and the results of analyses on the presence of pesticides and heavy metals in pollen collected during the 2024 season.

Speakers include:

  • Stefano Bovolenta (University of Udine)

  • Tiziana Perin (Alto Adriatico Technology Centre)

  • Marco De Colle (agronomist, beekeeping technician)

  • Antonella Stravisi (University of Udine)

The event will end with a visit to an apiary in Valeriano (PN), where participants will have the chance to observe electronic hives and wild bee nesting boxes, followed by a convivial aperitif.
