On Wednesday, February 4, 2026, the second cross-border workshop (WP3) will take place (on the Zoom platform). The theme of the session will be the standardization of terminology within the fields of urbanism and spatial planning.
In addition to presenting the project's guidelines and objectives, the meeting will provide an opportunity to showcase a demo of the portal and illustrate its background. This will be followed by a presentation of the linguistic resources of the Central Office for the Slovenian Language and an overview of the terminological work carried out by the CrossTerm group for urban planning. The workshop will conclude with the presentation of the list of selected terms, including the rationale behind the adopted linguistic solutions.
The workshop is part of a series of five meetings coordinated by the project partner CJVT of the Faculty of Computer and Information Science at the University of Ljubljana. The next meetings will be held on the Zoom platform on February 10 and 11, while the final session will take place in Ljubljana on February 25.
The event is part of the Crossborder standardisation of institutional terminology project, which aims to contribute to the achievement of terminological standardisation of administrative translations at cross-border level, and is co-funded by the European Union within the framework of the Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenia Programme.
