You are kindly invited to the microbiological workshop “Using Advanced Approaches for Microbiological Monitoring in Winemaking”, which will take place on Wednesday, 28 May 2025 at 9:00 AM at Lanthieri Mansion in Vipava (Glavni trg 8), as part of the AGROTUR+ Summer School.

The event will feature both national and international experts presenting cutting-edge techniques for monitoring microbial processes in winemaking – including fermentation monitoring via flow cytometry, tracking lactic acid bacteria and spoilage yeasts, and discussing the challenges and potential of malolactic fermentation. A live demonstration and lab tour at the Wine Research Centre will follow.

The workshop will be held in Slovenian and English with AI-based simultaneous translation into Italian, English and Slovenian.
