The event began with an intensive workshop in Tomaj, focused on precision viticulture. Participants delved into topics such as disease and pest monitoring, drought stress management, and innovative methods for smart water usage in irrigation. A visit to the Petelin Rogelja cellar provided practical insights into wine production.
In the afternoon, we continued with a seminar in Sežana on "Wine & Health: Responsible and Safe Consumption," aiming to highlight the importance of healthy wine consumption and its benefits.
We concluded the event in style with the culinary-educational event "Prosciutto and Wine" in the enchanting setting of Štanjel. Participants had the opportunity to taste various types of Mediterranean prosciuttos and learn about a wide range of organically produced wines. The discussion on the differences and similarities between prosciuttos enriched the evening and further deepened the knowledge of those present.
