On September 24th, 2025, the Managing Authority of the Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenia Programme has signed the financing contract of the standard project LOGICA, following the approval of the programme amendment as per the European Commission Implementing Decision C (2025) 5794 of September 2, 2025, which approved the reallocation of resources from SO 2.4 to ISO 1.(b).
The LOGICA project addresses one of the main common challenges in the Italy-Slovenia Programme area: the vulnerability of small communities to climate change within a cross-border context characterized by territorial, social, and regulatory variability. Several obstacles (such as organizational difficulties, limited resources, and the lack of shared strategies) make it necessary to adopt an approach that enhances dialogue among different governance levels and promotes cross-border cooperation. The objective of the project is to develop climate adaptation solutions that integrate national and regional climate plans, thereby fostering fair and sustainable resilience. As highlighted by the pilot actions implemented, guidelines will be produced to assess the feasibility and effectiveness of various adaptation solutions tailored to the different needs of territories in marginal areas.
The Lead Partner of the project is Mountain Community of Carnia, which will collaborate with 5 Project Partners and 1 Associated Partner.
