On March 12th, a technical meeting will be held between the Italian partners of the RECREATE project to review the VERSION 2 prototype of the waste bin made from recycled fiber-reinforced composite (CFR) materials. The meeting will bring together representatives of the Municipality of Spinea, the Upper Adriatic Technology Park (Lead Partner of the project), and Gees Recycling Srl, a company specialized in thermosetting recycling technology that developed the prototype.
The meeting, scheduled in Spinea, will focus on the technical and functional analysis of the waste bin, created using CFR waste collected during the project activities. The aim is to validate the prototype in view of its subsequent production and use in the public spaces of the Municipality of Spinea and by industrial partners involved in the project. This is an innovative product designed for urban environments, combining functionality, sustainability, and design thanks to the use of recycled materials from urban and industrial CFR waste. The quality of the material and compliance with technical standards will be verified through specific tests and certifications, ensuring the product's safety and durability.
