From the 7th to the 9th of March 2023, the winter school focused on "Cohesion Policies and the Challenge of Regional Health Systems" was held in Trieste, in the Double Tree Hotel by Hilton. It was organised by ProMIS - "Programma Mattone Internazionale Salute" - within the framework of the national formation activity which has been involving for some time the Representatives and Stakeholders of the Regions/Public administrations and Authorities (PP. AA.) - Health Directorates (Policy makers, Managers, Specialist Clinical Staff, Researchers, Administrative Officers), the Ministry of Health and other National Authorities.

Ms. Laura Comelli, acting as Managing Authority, and Mr. Aljosa Sosol, Responsible of the Joint Secretariat, were speakers in the "Technical workshop: Round table on Cross-border Health", held on the 7th of March, aimed both at fostering dialogue on Health sector between the Managing Authorities and the Italian Regions using the economic and financial instrument of the European Territorial Cooperation (ETC) and also enabling participants to gain a concrete and detailed insight into the main EU investment policy and the main financial instruments. These include the Interreg Italy-Slovenia Programme, which supports the transformation and innovation of local ecosystems for health as well as economic, social and territorial cohesion for a smart, sustainable and inclusive growth.
