The Interreg RECREATE project will take part in the conference titled RECREATE: EU Composites Advantage Unveiled, scheduled for 22 May 2025 at the House of the EU in Ljubljana.
The invitation to participate as a speaker is a significant opportunity for the RECREATE partnership to present its experience and tested solutions in the field of composite recycling and reuse, thereby contributing to the European debate on circular innovation in advanced materials.The Interreg project will be presented during Pitching session 3: Professional tools and equipment, starting at 16:20. On this occasion, Tiziana Perin (Polo Tecnologico Alto Adriatico Andrea Galvani) will illustrate the circular economy model for the collection and processing of fibre-reinforced composite waste.The conference is organised as part of the Horizon Europe project “RECREATE”, which shares the same acronym but refers to a different initiative focused on transferring industrial innovation in the field of composites to key strategic sectors across Europe. Curated by the Circular Business Academy, the event is part of the “Challenge Circularity” stream and brings together experts, companies, and institutions committed to strengthening industrial competitiveness through circular and sustainable solutions.
The participation of the Interreg RECREATE project in the conference marks an important occasion for transnational dissemination, enhancing the experience gained in the Italy–Slovenia programme area and fostering synergies with related European initiatives.
