On Monday, July 16, at the ZRS Centre for Humanities in Koper, the second Territorial Focus Group of the Interreg WABIN project was held, this time dedicated to Slovenian stakeholders and institutional representatives, under the title:
"From drop to community: smart water management in times of climate change."
Organised by the partner Clera. One with the participation of ZRS Koper, the meeting was divided into two parts:
in the first session, Slovenian participants discussed local needs, good water management practices, and the role of territorial actors in managing water resources.
In the second part of the morning, there were two presentations focused on the hydrogeological model developed by the project and river contracts as a tool for participatory governance, which once again sparked the debate.
The results of the focus group will be analysed, integrated with those from the Italian sessions, and published in a Memorandum of Understanding at the hydrogeological basin level, which will be presented to the participants, experts, and policy makers during the final event of the WABIN project in October 2025.
