You are kindly invited to the online seminar “The CO ADRIA Project and the Role of Renewable Energy Communities (RECs) at Regional and Cross-Border Level in the Energy Transition”, organised within the framework of the CO ADRIA project – EGTC of the North Adriatic to promote climate neutrality by 2050: strategic initiatives for energy efficiency in the region.

The event will take place on Monday, 20 April 2026, starting at 10:15 AM, and will be held online.

The seminar will feature the following speakers:

  • Dr Giampaolo Tarpignati, Municipality of Udine, who will open the session with an introduction to the project; 
  • Eng. C. Fioritto and Eng. P. Rovella, Municipality of Udine – Energy Transition Unit, who will present the Municipality’s initiatives in the energy sector; 
  • Eng. R. Lago, FVG Energia S.p.A., who will provide an in-depth overview of Renewable Energy Communities (RECs) in the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, focusing on the regulatory framework, regional context, establishment and co-design processes, key challenges, as well as energy monitoring and KPIs; 
  • Eng. R. F. Tommasi, who will present four case studies developed by the Municipality of Udine as project results; 
  • Dr E. Mian, Recocer Foundation – Renewable Energy Community, who will discuss cross-border energy perspectives. 

The seminar will conclude with an interactive Q&A session.
