The Interreg Italy–Slovenia WABIN project is heading to Rome in a context of national relevance, confirming its commitment to the dissemination and promotion of best practices related to the sustainable management of water resources.

On Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the national headquarters of FNSI – the Italian National Federation of the Press, WABIN will be presented at the UNARGA National Council (National Union of Journalists for Agriculture, Food and Environment). The presentation is scheduled to take place between 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM, following the conclusion of the Council’s proceedings.This initiative represents an important opportunity for visibility and exchange, placing the project at the center of a qualified audience of journalists specialized in agriculture, environmental, and sustainability topics.

During the presentation, the progress of WABIN activities will be illustrated, with a particular focus on the cross-border approach to water management, awareness-raising actions targeting citizens, and the tools developed to support public decision-makers and stakeholders.Participation in this event is part of the project’s communication and dissemination activities, with the aim of expanding the network of stakeholders and strengthening the impact of its initiatives beyond the cooperation area, fostering greater awareness on the protection and sustainable use of water resources.
