From Model to Territory: Best Practices in Water Management in Slovenia
On March 24, a Study Visit will take place at the Municipality of Ajdovščina, dedicated to best practices in water resource management in Slovenia, organised within the framework of the WABIN project.
The event represents an opportunity to deepen knowledge and exchange views on climate change, the water cycle, and innovative solutions adopted in Slovenia for the sustainable management of water resources.
Institutional representatives and scientific experts will contribute insights on the management of major natural water-related disasters, irrigation systems, water balances, and technical tools for resilient planning. In the afternoon, a workshop on water impact calculation will be held, offering participants the opportunity to understand how to operationally apply the water balance model developed by the project.
📌 The initiative is dedicated to Italian participants interested in gaining first-hand knowledge of Slovenian experiences and best practices.
A similar event aimed at the Slovenian public will be organised in the coming months.
🎟 Participation is free of charge – limited seats available, registration at the following link: https://eventplatform.poloaa.it/workshop/c1968f57-f805-481b-9191-da66c5486178
