Starting from February 10 and for about a week, the partners OGS, the University of Ljubljana, and the Upper Adriatic Technology Park will carry out data acquisition at the Vipava test site. This activity aims to collect geophysical, geological, and hydrological information, essential for the characterization of the hydrogeological basin and for monitoring water resources.
The collected data will be integrated into the cross-border database, contributing to the development of the conceptual hydrogeological model and the scenario-based water balance.
During this phase, the conditions of the subsurface, surface, and groundwater will be analyzed, and the installation of new meteorological monitoring stations will be assessed to improve coverage and the quality of the collected data in the study area.
