Project summary
Specific objective: SO6 – Promoting the transition to a circular and resource efficient economy
Typology: capitalisation project
The RECREATE project aims to enhance the business model for the management of the materials in Fiber reinforced composites (FRC) by involving both subjects that produce waste (citizens and companies) and companies that manage waste, as well as subjects that use the products in Recycled FRC (municipalities and companies).
Objectives
- The project will make it possible to identify guidelines for the management of urban and industrial waste in FCR in the Program area. These guidelines can be used by waste management companies and by companies that use FRC when the project is completed, in order to continue applying the circular economy model.
- Furthermore, the procedures will be identified with which public and private bodies will be able to acquire products in FRC to insert them in their own areas of competence: public spaces for municipalities; industrial processes for companies using FCRs.
- These procedures will allow these targets to have the tools to close the circle of FRC materials and implement the circular economy model.
Output
demonstrate the feasibility of the circular economy model and the possibility of its application in Italian and Slovenian public and private contexts.
